Someone told me something a couple of weeks ago so unfathomable that I put it out of my mind until it occurred to me to look it up today. It turns out to be true: the actress who played Jerry Seinfeld's mom was once engaged to James Dean. Perhaps more disturbing: I hadn't realized that she was also Raquel Ochmonek.
